From a young age I have always wanted to be a farmer. Taking every opportunity to work on, spend time at or be involved with farming and agriculture.
I completed my Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture at Roseworthy Ag College. This is where I met my wife Alice. Alice and I live in Littlehampton with our two kids Emma and Lachy and 2 Jack Russells Ben and Reg.
My entire working life has been in the agricultural sector, from milking cows, agronomy, dairy nutrition and commercial roles in the stockfeed manufacturing industry. I am one of the managing partners of Hills Farm Supplies and thoroughly enjoy working closely with our customers.
Where will you find me when I’m not working?
At the Hartley block playing sheep farmer. Spending time with family (very rare if you ask my wife Alice). Listening to music while ‘trying’ to cook up a storm on the Weber.
How long have I been at Hills Farm Supplies?
From the start and really excited about where we are heading.

Farming family, sheep and cattle production have always been a major part of my life. My wife Jude and I have 2 children (Claire & Riley) who both share the passion for agriculture and have enjoyed growing up in it as well. We have 20 acres at Mount Torrens and a further 210 acres at Hartley which is jointly owned with Michael.
I hold degrees in both Agricultural Science and Agribusiness and have spent the majority of my working career in the field of Ruminant Nutrition something I have enjoyed greatly.
I am one of the managing partners at Hills Farm Supplies, as a business we have built it from the ground up with a vision of being the place to go for anything livestock related, with a knowledge base to back up our goal of being the best at what we do.
We also operate Telpara Suffolk stud running around 120 stud ewes with an annual ram and ewe sale selling around 45 rams and 25 ewes each year.
Where will you find me when I’m not working?
Farming, camping & mountain bike riding, having a beer with mates or back up in on the Atherton Tablelands visiting the family’s farming interests.
How long have I been at Hills Farm Supplies?
Not long enough! We opened the doors February 2010 and I plan to be around for a long while yet as we have plenty more to achieve.
