Returns Policy – Hills Farm Supplies

At Hills Farm Supplies, we understand that getting the right equipment for your property or operation is essential. That’s why we offer a straightforward returns and exchange policy, designed to give you peace of mind when shopping with us.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return eligible items within 14 days of your order date for a store credit, refund, or exchange, subject to the following conditions:

General Return Conditions:

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of the order date.

  • Items must be unused, unmarked, and in ‘as new’ condition, with no signs of wear, damage, or installation.

  • Products must be returned in their original undamaged packaging, including all product labels, manuals, and accessories.

  • The original packaging must not be used as the outer packaging for the return. Please pack items securely and avoid attaching labels directly to the product box.

  • A copy of your original receipt or invoice must be included with the return.

  • Returns must be pre-approved by Hills Farm Supplies – please contact our team at sales@hillsfarmsupplies.com.au or use the online contact form to request return authorisation and instructions.

Please note: Hills Farm Supplies does not accept returns on special order items, electrical components, clearance items, or any item that has been used or installed.

For items valued at over $400, returns will be eligible for store credit or exchange only.

Incorrect, Damaged, or Faulty Items

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged during delivery, incorrect, or not as described, we’ll make it right. Please notify us within 3 business days of receiving your order via sales@hillsfarmsupplies.com.au or our contact form.

We’ll guide you through the return process and, where necessary, provide a pre-paid return label.

Faulty Goods and Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if an item:

  • Has a major failure, or

  • Is not of acceptable quality and fails to meet consumer guarantees.

The appropriate remedy will depend on the extent and timing of the fault. In some cases, we may need to assess the item before determining the remedy.

If you're asked to return the product, we recommend using the original packaging. If unavailable, you’ll be responsible for safely repacking the item to prevent transit damage. Hills Farm Supplies does not accept liability for goods damaged due to insufficient packaging.

Returns are processed within 3 business days of arriving at our warehouse. You’ll receive confirmation via email once your return has been reviewed and completed.

We recommend using registered or tracked postage for all returns, as we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost in transit.
