At Hills Farm Supplies, we stand by the quality of the equipment and supplies we sell. We know how important reliable gear is for your farm or property, which is why our Warranty Policy is designed to give you confidence with every purchase.

If something’s not quite right, we’re here to help.

General Terms

1.1 The benefits provided under this Warranty Policy are in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure and, if the item fails to be of acceptable quality without constituting a major failure, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

1.2 Subject to your rights under the ACL, the liability of Hills Farm Supplies in relation to goods supplied will be, at our discretion, limited to:

  • Repairing the goods

  • Replacing the goods

  • Supplying equivalent goods

  • Refunding the purchase price

1.3 Warranty terms differ by product type and/or manufacturer.

Where applicable, specific warranty terms will be stated on the individual product page or invoice. Some items may carry extended or manufacturer-backed warranties, these are processed through the relevant supplier or importer.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Contact our team at sales@hillsfarmsupplies.com.au or via the Contact Us page to register your issue and receive return instructions.

  2. Provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) – this is required for all claims.

  3. If requested, return the item to Hills Farm Supplies. We recommend keeping the original packaging. If original packaging is unavailable, it is your responsibility to ensure the item is packaged safely for return. We do not accept liability for items damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging.

Assessment and Resolution

  • Once returned, your product will be assessed by our team or the manufacturer.

  • If the item is found to be faulty, and the fault amounts to a major failure, you will be offered a full refund, replacement, or repair.

  • If the fault is minor, we will offer a repair or suitable remedy.

  • In some cases, repairs may take time depending on the supplier or parts availability.

  • If no fault is found, the item will be returned to you at your cost, and no further action will be taken.

Warranty Limitations and Exclusions

To the maximum extent permitted by law, warranty claims may not be accepted in cases where:

  • The product has not been used, installed, or maintained as per the manufacturer's instructions

  • The product has been damaged through misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or improper installation

  • The product has been altered, modified, or tampered with without authorisation

  • Faults are due to normal wear and tear, environmental factors (e.g. rust, corrosion), or cosmetic damage

Consumable parts (e.g. hinges, moving components, seals, nozzles and filters ) are generally not covered under warranty unless faulty on delivery.
