      Free from Brucellosis (a bacterial disease causing infertility in rams). Accreditation 1213.

    • National Johnes Program

      Gudair vaccinated. Free from Johnes (a chronic infection which causes wasting)

    • Annual Ram & Ewe Sale

      Held annually, the Telpara Type sale is located in Sherlock, South Australia.  Hosted by Quality Livestock, the sale will also be live to bid on via StockLive.

      A joint expedition between Hills Farm Supplies owners Anthony Pearce and Michael Bowden, Telpara Suffolk's are a performance orientated stud. Through the use of Lambplan, Telpara breeds sheep for growth, tenderness and temperament. More specifically, we focus on producing high quality commercial and stud rams that are above breed average and available for sale annually in September.

      Located on 1200 acres out in the Mallee region of South Australia, Telpara Suffolk Stud strives for increased growth, marbling and overall return. This is reflected through the results of LAMBPLAN (available for viewing on Sheep Genetics) and through the physical response seen by the breeders capitalising on Telpara genetics

      Telpara's annual sale will be held mid September at 380 Buccleuch South Rd, Sherlock SA. Offering up to 60 Suffolk rams and 30 Suffolk ewes.

      The sale will be held live and through auctions plus with FREE DELIVERY will be offered across all of South Australia.

      Delivery options are also available Australia wide.

      This is the traditional way of buying livestock if you are unable to attend in person and is suggested for anyone who has less-than-ideal access to high-speed internet.  It’s also handy if/while we are in travel restrictions. 

      To get started, contact Quality Livestock or Anthony Pearce regarding your interest.

      Quality Livestock will give you a call prior to sale day to organise a buyer’s number and a phone number that you will use on sale day to place bids over the phone.
