Vegetarian sources of protein including peas and lupins are used to create the HFS Healthy Hen blend. The all natural, antibiotic free grain is the perfect and safe option to feed all laying poultry.

Designed to Form the Base of a Natural Diet

Healthy Hen is designed to form the base of a natural diet with additional nutrition being obtained from her own foraging activities throughout the day. If the hen cannot ‘free- range’ the diet can be ‘topped-up’ with fresh household food scraps.

Unlike pellet formulations our whole grain feeds are based on fixed formulas with no byproducts. This means our feeds are always made the same way, from the same ingredients, not made to a price, ensuring a consistent product every time.

Added Vitamins and Minerals

Complete with all essential vitamins and minerals to suit the needs of backyard laying poultry.

Chickens eat approximately 120g to 130g per head per day but should not be limited to this quantity. Provide HFS Healthy Hen in a feeder to allow free choice consumption. Always provide adequate fresh water at all times.

Supplement additional shellgrit where egg shells are soft and to support digestion of food. Greens and food scraps are not essential but can be provided.

STORAGE REQUIREMENTS: For optimum quality and shelf life product should be stored below 30°C and off the floor in a cool, dry, well ventilated area protected from direct sunlight.
