Features Benefits

A hardy yet safe pasture option for horses, featuring high NDF content and lower sugar levels. Similar to Hills Equine Long Term, it includes deep-rooted perennial grasses with strong summer dormancy. This clover-free blend uses lucerne as the preferred legume, making it ideal for drier regions. Designed for set stocking, it includes grazing-tolerant varieties but requires careful management in the first year to establish strong plant numbers. From year two onwards, it develops into a durable, reliable horse pasture. Shipping restrictions apply for Western Australia and Tasmania.

Barberia Hybrid Ryegrass

Winter performance like an Italian with potential for persistence over 5 years. This is a highly palatable ryegrass that makes a good clover companion.

Horizon Phalaris

An early maturing, winter active phalaris, with robust establishment. Offers superior winter yields in Mediterranean medium rainfall zones.

Summadorm Cocksfoot

Suited to lower rainfall (400mm+) and highly Summer dormant. An early maturing cocksfoot with deep roots for good drought tolerance & persistency.

Drover Cocksfoot

Drover is an acid tolerant, semi-erect type, Australian-bred cocksfoot which sets the benchmark for Mediterranean-type cocksfoots.

Stamina GT5(5) Superstrike Lucerne

A semi-dormant grazing tolerant lucerne. Stamina GT5 is ultra persistent under prolonged periods of set stocking and is suitable for >350mm rainfall.

CONFEDERATE Phalaris

Solid performing winter active, low summer dormancy, excellent seasonal dry matter production, good persistence, benefit of lower alkaloids.

FANTASTIC Diploid Annual Ryegrass

Fantastic is a dynamic, annual diploid ryegrass specifically bred for early winter feed and is ideal to oversow rundown pastures.
