Virbac CYDECTIN® MINERALISED for sheep

CYDECTIN® MINERALISED is an oral drench for sheep that combines the potent anthelmintic moxidectin with five essential trace minerals: copper, cobalt, selenium, iodine, and zinc. This dual-action formulation provides broad-spectrum control of internal parasites, including strains resistant to benzimidazole and levamisole, while addressing common mineral deficiencies that can impact sheep health and productivity.

Designed for use in medium to low rainfall areas or as a prime-lamb drench, CYDECTIN® MINERALISED offers persistent activity against key gastrointestinal parasites and supports optimal growth, fertility, and disease resistance through mineral supplementation.

CYDECTIN® MINERALISED Features

Broad-Spectrum Parasite Control

Effectively treats and controls moxidectin-sensitive gastrointestinal parasites, including benzimidazole and/or levamisole resistant strains, lungworm, and itchmite in sheep.

Persistent Activity

Provides at least 14 days protection against Teladorsagia (Ostertagia) spp and barber’s pole worm (Haemonchus contortus), and prevents pasture contamination by Teladorsagia spp eggs for at least 35 days and barber’s pole worm eggs for at least 30 days.

Essential Trace Mineral Supplementation

Addresses deficiencies in copper, cobalt, selenium, iodine, and zinc, which are vital for immune function, reproduction, and overall health.

It controls moxidectin-sensitive gastrointestinal parasites, including benzimidazole and/or levamisole resistant strains, lungworm, and itchmite in sheep.

The inclusion of copper, cobalt, selenium, iodine, and zinc helps prevent deficiencies that can lead to conditions like swayback, white muscle disease, and goitre, and supports overall health and productivity.

Administer orally at 1 mL per 5 kg bodyweight. Sheep over 70 kg should be dosed at 1 mL per 5 kg.

Meat: 7 days; Milk: Do not use in female sheep which are producing, or may in the future produce, milk or milk products for human consumption; Export Slaughter Interval (ESI): 7 days.

It can be safely used concurrently with other treatments, provided they do not include copper, cobalt, or selenium.
