CYDECTIN® ORAL LV SE is a low-volume oral drench for sheep, formulated with moxidectin—the most potent macrocyclic lactone (ML) drench—and selenium to provide broad-spectrum control of internal parasites and address selenium-responsive conditions. This combination is particularly beneficial for sheep over 60 kg liveweight, offering effective parasite control while supporting immune function and overall health.

Designed for use in rotation with other fully effective drenches, CYDECTIN® ORAL LV SE is ideal for managing parasite burdens in highly contaminated pastures. Its low-volume formulation ensures ease of administration, especially when treating large numbers of sheep or heavier animals.

CYDECTIN® ORAL LV SE Features

Broad-Spectrum Parasite Control

Effectively treats and controls moxidectin-sensitive gastrointestinal parasites, including benzimidazole and/or levamisole resistant strains, as well as lungworm and itch mite in sheep.

Persistent Activity

Provides at least 14 days protection against Ostertagia spp and barber’s pole worm (Haemonchus contortus), and prevents pasture contamination by Ostertagia spp eggs for at least 35 days and barber’s pole worm eggs for at least 30 days.

Selenium Supplementation

Addresses selenium deficiencies that can impair the immune system and reduce disease resistance, as well as cause ill thrift, infertility, scouring, and white muscle disease.

Low-Volume Formulation

Delivers the same amount of active ingredient in a smaller dose, making it advantageous when treating large numbers of sheep or heavier animals, and allowing for easier and quicker drenching.

Safety and Compatibility

CYDECTIN® ORAL LV SE has a wide margin of safety when used as recommended and is readily accepted by sheep. It can be safely used concurrently with other treatments, including mineral supplements (not selenium), fluke treatments, and vaccines.
